Important Features:
Manage Processes (easy overview on system resources like memory usage or cpu capacity, list them by click on their names in tree bar, end processes by right click)
Filter by typing (Just type a number of letters for instance “expl” and the process “explorer” should reveal easily.
Manage Startups (disable or delete anoying programmes that start with Windows)
You should switch task manager replacement on in the options.
After replacing, remember the Windows shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Esc for launching System Explorer or former Task Manager.
How to disable windows baloon tips (notification area)
To open up the registry editor:
1. Click on Start
2. Choose Run
3. Type in “regedit”
4. Click Okay
Follow this path to The Key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
Create a new DWORD value, name it EnableBalloonTips, and set it equal to 0. If EnableBalloonTips is already there and equal to 1, set it equal to 0. Quit the registry editor, log off, and log back on. Voila! Your computer will stop talking down to you.
